Evelyn graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor in Science in Biomedical Engineering and minored in Psychology and Packaging Engineering. She is a Gates Millennium Scholar. For her capstone for biomedical engineering, she initiated and led a group of five individuals to design, develop, and create a fully functioning device for pressure relief of pressure ulcers under a short time frame. She handled and budgeted $5,000 of funding through Bill Gates Millennium Organization for research and development of the medical device. She designed the blueprint of the medical device consisting of programming with Matlab & Python and modeling & analyzing data of results. Her capstone is patent pending. In addition, she is part of the United Nations Association participating in numerous events taking place in the United Nations Headquarters and Capital Hill. As of now, she is searching for a fellowship or job opportunity to continue her mission to resolve ongoing issues in healthcare, climate climate, and education. She hopes to network in this commission with like-minded individuals on social developments.
