U.S. youth delegates to the Cancun Climate Talks (COP16) are building a Rapid Response Network of U.S. youth climate champions! U.S. youth responders will play a crucial role in civil society's efforts to advance a fair, ambitious, and binding climate deal.
Low-intensity responders will be contacted by a COP16 youth delegate whenever there is a major event in the negotiations (don't worry, you won't be woken up at 3am!) You will be briefed of negotiation developments and given recommendations for action, which could include calling your representative/senators, writing a letter to the editor, or even organizing an action. But remember, we will only make recommendations - nothing is 'required'.
