If you are committed to SustainUS, and want to help, there is a place for you! All positions are a year in length and officially begin after the SustainUS annual retreat, which will be held at the end of the summer.

This Earth Day, fresh on the momentum of Step It Up 2007, SustainUS celebrates the successes of the past year: Agents of Change delegations have stood up for sustainability at four major UN functions, Citizen Science named three amazing paper competition winners, and our geoclusters continue to educate and advocate at the local level. But it's impossible to mark our progress without also recognizing the many tasks ahead of us. We're at a critical point in history, and as youth, we must take action toward a more sustainable future.

You recycle and try to make responsible purchases. You get involved on campus and in your community. What else can you do? This Earth Day, we challenge you to think big and step up your commitment to sustainability. Let's all give each other something to celebrate on Earth Day 2008!
