Agents of Change Policy and Planning Committee

The Agents of Change Policy and Planning Committee coordinates all aspects of the program, from selection and logistics to policy drafting and research. Committee members live in all regions of the country and stay in touch through conference calls and an email listserv. Typical tasks include grant writing, research about science and policy related to upcoming conferences, drafting SustainUS policy recommendations, media outreach, event planning, graphic design, collaborative work with other youth and brainstorming plans for the program.

The Committee works on the principle of "do-ocracy" - we're not experts, but there's work to do and those who show up are welcome to participate! It's amazing to see what a dedicated group of young people can accomplish. The only requirement for Committee membership is a willingness to put some time and energy into the program (and that you're 26 or under!). We recognize that young peoples' schedules and free time fluctuate, so we just ask that members contribute what they can and stay in touch with the goings-on of the committee.

If you're interested in joining or learning more about the Agents of Change Policy and Planning Committee, please email AoC Coordinator Erin Kenzie at erin@sustainus.org.

A big thanks to the current Committee members: Emma Aronson, Meg Boyle, Juan Hoffmaister, Whit Jones, Stephanie Kwan, Dominic MacCormack, Dani Maniscalco, Cat Manzo, Lauren Nutter, Anushka Shenoy, Chloe Stull-Lane, Julia Wong, and Yochi Zakai
