CSD-13: A New Era for Agents

CSD-13: A New Era for Agents

The view from inside the UN Building! The Agents of Change program sent a delegation to 13th United Nations Commission on Sustainable Development, held from April 11 - 22 at the UN Headquarters.
The delegation was a huge success - enabling SustainUS members from all over the country to attend and contribute to a major international conference focused on sustainable development. The conference's theme this year was water, sanitation and human settlements and the delegation took part in workshops, meetings and helped draft policy statements from the youth perspective. Highlights included a meeting with State Department representative Dan Rochberg, a side event featuring presentations from the Citizen Science winners (click here to read the papers), interactions with talented youth from around the globe working on similar issues in their home countries and delicious cuisines from all corners of the world.
