Flora graduated with honors from Stanford University. As an undergraduate, she was involved in organizations such as Stanford in Government and the International Refugee Assistance Project. She also interned at the International Labour Organization, the Department of Justice and the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. After graduation, she studied women’s rights law in China on a Fulbright research grant. She has also worked on a variety of cases as a legal analyst, including a pro bono asylum matter. She is currently the co-founder and leader of a project which uses technology to assist immigrant victims of domestic violence.
