Kathleen is from Beijing, China. Most recently she worked at NYC’s Department of Sanitation as an NYC Urban Fellow, where she worked on food waste initiatives and learned about the infrastructure and labor that keeps the city alive. She currently works as a researcher for labor campaigns. Outside of work, Kathleen is an artist, graphic designer, and writer. Previously, she studied public policy and studio arts at Princeton University. She would love to hang out and talk about urban planning, public infrastructure, diaspora, or a really good critical geography meme.
