Arielle is interested in addressing global economic and political issues in a systemic way to drive sustainable and inclusive development. For the past year, she has been working with Asha Impact, based in Delhi, analyzing energy access issues, evaluating solar-based enterprise models, and outlining decentralized renewable energy policy recommendations. She is a Young India Fellow, 2014-2015, is involved in the International Development Innovation Network run out of MIT’s D-lab, and attended IDDS Aarogyam in 2015. She has also worked on addressing issues with donated medical equipment in Nicaragua and solar electrification in Gambia, as well as responsible investing at the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied bioengineering, energy engineering, and sustainable development. Arielle is excited to be part of the SustainUS delegation to COP21 and dive into the complex arena of international and domestic climate policy.
