Gloria Oladipo is a current freshman at Cornell University, planning on studying Computer Science and Government, and an alum of Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in Chicago, IL. She has always been interested in environmentalism after seeing the impact of Chicago’s pollution on the city’s most vulnerable populations and noticing the large amount of pollution in Nigeria’s populous cities, the country where her parents are originally from. Since then, she has been involved in many ecology clubs through her school and has even started her non-profit, the Chicago Youth Alliance for Climate Action, to engage and educate Chicagoland youth about global warming. Additionally, Gloria is a proud United States Senate Youth Program and Posse Foundation Leadership scholar. In her free, she enjoys playwriting and cooking and plans on developing those skills in the future.
