Grace Lee is a senior at Claremont McKenna College majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. She has a strong passion for addressing poverty by advancing educational opportunity for disadvantaged youth. Grace founded a college access mentoring organization that serves disadvantaged high school students in the Los Angeles area. She has also been involved in advocating for youth nationally as the Director of Student Government Outreach for the Campaign for Presidential Youth Council and the California State Director for Youth for National Change. Grace was selected by Opportunity Nation to be an ambassador for its 2015 and 2016 Opportunity Summits, gatherings of cross-sector leaders to address youth opportunity. Having completed internships at the local, state, and federal levels of government, Grace hopes to pursue a career in public policy addressing poverty and education. She is a 2016 Public Policy & International Affairs Fellow at Princeton University and was recognized as a scholarship recipient by the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association.
