Karina currently serves as the SustainUS Secretary position on the Steering Committee and Board. She is also part of the COP21 delegation and is absolutely stoked to attend the climate negotiations in Paris. She received her Bachelors in Environmental Studies and French from the University of Arizona and is now a Masters students pursuing a degree in Forestry from Northern Arizona University. She and also works in wilderness education and trip leading for outdoor expeditions. She is very passionate about sustainable development, gender equality, poverty eradication, social justice, and the links that tie them together. In her spare time Karina enjoys trees, coffee, books, teddy bears, and her best friend Arlene.
