Lena grew up in Brooklyn, NY, telling stories and asking questions, and brings this sensibility to work focused on the relationships between people and natural resources in urban environments. They have written curriculum, facilitated experiential education on land and water, managed food access programs, created visual media, produced public programming, and made a lot of noise in public. They are thrilled to be part of the SustainUS community an intervention that brings together local lived experience and global policy.
